Advent Project

Our Advent season begins this Sunday and with it our annual and traditional giving from the
hearts of our children… The children of SSA have long helped and remembered the less
fortunate. We reach out monthly to children in third world countries through giving, in our
monthly Mission Projects and through our food drives where we help the less fortunate of the
parish at both Thanksgiving and Easter time. We are proud that the students (and parents) of SSA have once again accepted the invitation to serve and respond to opportunities to love others as Jesus taught us through our 2017 Advent Projects.

Our Advent Class Project this year will include:

“Our bounty is not deserved, but a gift. Give back, give from the heart.”

GRADE 7: Collecting donations for “Ronald McDonald House”: a place for family to
stay when their child is very ill and at Children’s Hospital. They are in need of
welcome/activity bags.
